Once rounded up, each facet is "cut " by placing the diamond against a spinning wheel charged with diamond dust. The faceting of rough diamond is done by spinning the wheel in one direction, while
polishing a diamond is done by changing the direction to flow more with the "grain" of the diamond...very similar to wood working |

Once your diamond has been cut to perfection, it is reviewed by the Kristall Quality Control division. Generations of skill in diamond
grading insure that your diamond is the best it can be
before leaving the factory!
